Emotional Sovereignty Walks

Most of the time, what we need isn’t advice. It’s a place to slow down and feel what's actually real for you, without pressure to fix yourself or perform what you "should be".

I’m Adama, an Emotional Sovereignty Mentor. Emotional Sovereignty Walks are 1:1 sessions that happen in motion or stillness. That's on a calm walk, at a café, or virtually, depending on what supports you best.

This is a light, human space to reconnect with yourself and leave feeling clearer than when you arrived.

What this is

Emotional Sovereignty Walks are centered on presence and honest conversation.

My intention is to move with you at a pace that feels peaceful. We listen for what’s true beneath the noise in the world, and the noise in your world.

Emotional sovereignty, as I use it here, means staying connected to your inner world without abandoning yourself—not forcing positivity or analyzing everything, but returning to what’s real.

This is not therapy. What it is is a grounded space cultivated for you to hear yourself again. And I'm honored to walk through it with you.

What we do together

During a session, we'll do the following:

  • Take a moment to arrive. Take a full breath, pause, and begin with a short check-in
  • Talk through what you’ve been carrying or moving through lately
  • Reflect patterns or themes you may or may not have named yet
  • Close with a simple way to carry more clarity, peace, or steadiness into your day

Nothing is rushed here.

This may be a good fit if you’re:

  • Feeling emotionally full, overwhelmed, or in transition
  • Craving honest conversation without judgment or "fixing yourself."
  • Wanting more self-trust or a calmer relationship with your feelings
  • Ready to be truthful with yourself in a gentle, yet real way

You don’t need to know exactly what you want to talk about. We’ll connect with what’s here in this moment.

Format & location

Virtual: Zoom or FaceTime (anywhere)

In person: Gentle walks or seated conversations in Montclair, West Orange, South Orange, and nearby Essex County areas

If you prefer a seated session, a very short walk, or have accessibility needs, just let me know. We’ll choose what feels right.

Rates (60 minutes)

  • First session: $55
  • Ongoing sessions: $100
  • 4-session bundle: $333

Payment accepted via Cash App, Venmo, Zelle, or cash.

How to book

Start by leaving your name and contact information below. I’ll follow up personally to coordinate a time that works for you.

Before your first session, we’ll also have the option of a complimentary 10–15 minute introductory call. This is simply a chance to connect briefly, ask any questions, and make sure the walk feels like a good fit. No pressure either way.

After you submit the form, you’ll receive a short email from me with the next step. If it’s easier, you’ll also have the option to coordinate by text or email at that point.
